Being reported Felder has left the team. Personal decision. Not disciplinary related. Though Golden said he’d be welcomed back some sources believe he will not return. Bummer. I liked Felder.

Sorry to hear this. It would be best for him if he returned and finished the season and then leave if he still wants to. Leaving now is just a couple of months of lost basketball. That doesn't help him get better.

Perhaps there is a non-basketball reason that his play has been sketchy this year. I hope all is well with him.

I don't blame him since Golden has effectively taken him out of the rotation.

His head wasn’t in it against Ohio and has been used sparingly since.

Good point. I jumped to the conclusion that he was unhappy with his playing time, when I have no real information. My bad.

Lane minutes inbound or just a shorter bench?

Oh, my post wasn't directed to you at all. I was just posting a thought. You might very well be right.

I didn't think it was aimed at me, you just made a good point. I'm probably right, because I'm always right. But there's a first time for everything and I shouldn't jump to conclusions.

You think a kid who loses playing time for performance should just quit mid season? I sure as heck blame him for quitting

So it’s Golden’s fault without even knowing the details of what the kids struggles are, has he been able to practice, make meetings etc?

Virginia is the only 1-seed to ever lose to a 16-seed.

Could be academic challenges, physical challenges, family challenges, mental health challenges, …. We have no idea. Playing time is just speculation

He has always been a guy that I felt if he gave 110% he’d be dominant. Hope he reaches that potential one day whether here or somewhere else.
