Rashada, 1/11/23 UPDATENOW being Denied

Soon under bidding will become the thing. Smarter players of equivalent talent will eventually start offering to take less if it means they will be the player chosen. That's what I would do. Especially like someone like Howard, go to CBN and say"coach I'll play for X amount less, forget about the other guy" at certain schools, ie: UF being one of them, you don't even have to be great to get to the league as a QB of you just have potential and flash it periodically with the national exposure UF gets will earn that kid what he gave up on the beginning

Not if you believe the Athletic article posted somewhere in the thread. That the 3 Rd party reneged on the contract with JR.

 

That guy Neil who runs in all kinds of weather is a tool. He has no sources and no idea what he’s talking about. He just reads the tea leaves and makes an educated guess. Just like any message board poster.

 

Again. Just speculation. The Athletic was just piecing everything together trying to make sense of it all. Just like we all are. The truth will probably never come out. Nor should it.

I’m might get some grief for this, but I’m not all that upset about this. Maybe this will be the catalyst that gets the NIL programs inline and on the same page.

I do think there is less participation in the collectives than what was anticipated.

I'm not so much upset as disappointed. I believed the apparent falseness of Rashada's claim that he followed his heart to Florida. I don't know how anyone could believe the Rashada family about anything if The Athletic article is true . . . and they probably have pretty strict guidelines to pass legalities. I'll also remind everyone of something I posted yesterday or the day before that got buried in all the feeding frenzy . . . but Coach Napier had already identified and moved to address such things hiring a Director of NIL Strategy.

I’m with you. I’m just saying it happing to one school isn’t going to lead to the change regardless of what school it would have been. Had it been Alabama we would all be laughing as well. Until it starts to become a regular thing where kids aren’t enrolling over NIL deals, I don’t imagine changes to happen

im speculating but it seems to me that the nil payer would need a player to enroll prior to paying some funds. im not locked into the scenario that the contract was breached by our group. its also possible that jaden and his group tried to renegotiate. until the facts are known and just more than media speculation i will keep an open mind

 

And if Napier doesn’t make it 2 more years he makes less than 14 million at 7 mil/y each correct? That’s what I was saying in my initial post
