    Met him when he was a rookie.....the New Jersey Generals held training camp at UCF. Herschel was his backfield mate, Brian Sipe the QB. They brought in Flutie the next training camp

    OC for Parcells.
    Played in the USFL and had 1,000 yards when Herschel got hurt in New Jersey.

    Was a great FB for the New York Football Giants. Lead blocker for Joe Morris and Rodney Hampton (and Otis Anderson in Super Bowl 25).

    I got to talk with him after Chris Leak’s final arena league game.
