A few poor seasons…they just went to the national championship. How could that be a poor season? That first year coach just did great things. Great season and good coach= kids going there.
Isn’t it about winning? What’s a higher ranked recruiting class mean if not winning? Facilities, recruiting rank, etc don’t make teams win. Coaching…..
6-7 Lost to Vandy Blown out in bowl game Lost to every rival Portal class ranked in the 50ish range A loss is a loss. What’s key or more important is not having lots of losses. Like 7 in a year is a lot.
You're missing the point. How did we manage to get a class that is 40 spots higher than TCU in the recruiting rankings?
At least two people so far have agreed with your last sentence. I can’t imagine ever saying the words “we aren’t s—t” regarding anything in my life. If I reached that point I might detach and not affiliate. Is that where some are at?
And won’t be next year either. We have a lot of ground to make up and a young team coming patched up with portal guys. Half our games were ranked teams unlike most teams outside the conference tgat may play 2-3 teams with a pulse.
Apparently to some here we’re just as good as the number 2 team in the nation. We need to face the facts. This rebuild, whenever it happens will take probably more than 3 years.
TCU did not become a better defensive team over the past year. They got a lot of breaks of OU, UT, OSU, and ISU being not very good this year. If losing their OC means decreased production, they are a middle of the pack team in a very bad conference. That the top two teams, TCU and KSU, were beyond demolished by top SEC teams is no surprise.
I think the issue is that you and the other gentleman simply don't understand what the word "stable" means.
Yep. Seems like the TCU love is more about demonstrating a benchmark for how far the Gators have fallen. Sure they did good with what they had, but ... meh. I can see the other Negative and Pessimistic Eeyores that lurk these threads are congregating and teaming up too. Please some good news today!
I've never seen more praise for rival programs on our boards like I see now. Georgia, fsu, and now TCU??? I come here to check up on Florida and avoid all the other love fests for whatever flavor of the month the national media covers. Apparently you can run from it but you can't hide from it.
