So, what is the latest on whether Ra$hada is or is not enrolling?

 

We shall see. It is the most bizarre rule I’ve seen in 20 years of message board posting.

 

I get the drama surrounding his recruitment and all the speculation. Not sure the $ thing is warranted at this stage. No one really knows WTF is happening.

Kids like mine that play highschool ball badly aren’t who we are talking about. They don’t factor into the 100 mil a year that UF claims each year,

That's the bizarre part of NIL. The alumni are asked to pay the NIL while the intent of the change was for the university athletic departments to share THEIR revenue.

 

That’s just not accurate, wadr. The intent of NIL was never about UAD’s sharing their revenue, not even close. None of the $$$$ was ever going to come from the schools. It simply opened the door WIDE open for players to hire agents, solicit offers, and accept $$$$ from third parties, whoever they may be. Inducement to sign & play for a particular program is what’s it’s turned into, unfortunately.

 

How do you figure that? The law doesn’t even allow it.

 

If you are dissecting the $ sign in his name, I don't know what to tell you, but maybe you have better insight on what the hold up is (academics, admissions, Benjamins, etc.). I asked a question since I am not in the loop, I just wondered what's the latest on this situation.

Nobody does. That’s why I think the $ in his name is a little unfair to claim he’s all about $$
