Rashada, 1/11/23 UPDATENOW being Denied

This has been going on for two decades as far as only a select few teams being competitive. Think back to the 90’s. How many hall of fame coaches had programs with a legit shot of winning titles.

 

No different than any pro sport as far as tge money goes. The qb usually does make more than tge head coach. As does a top pitcher, nba, same.

 

Interesting that there is nothing on ESPN regarding this ‘situation’. Suspect lack of any confirmed/substantiated info. That being said, make the LSU QB in the portal priority 1A. Don’t get left holding a bag w/out a recipient.

I get it, but I'd rather see that money spent to get the line of scrimmage squared away and put all the effort towards DJ. This Rashada recruitment has been to up and down IMO.

When will the truth come out, or will it?? It won’t, imho, because no one wants to talk about this stuff out in the open, at all. Everything is so top secret, the Central notmuchIntelligence Agency could learn a thing or two here..

I’m personally over the rashada drama. Idc who’s fault. If the lsu kid wants in, let’s take him and move forward already.

Every sport has the haves and have nots. It's just how sports are.
NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, every college sport. There are teams that just always are at the top.
Once the playoffs expand even more money is going to flow

I remember the year we had a huge celebration in the Swamp and Tebow had walked away from the microphone, turned around and came back to the mic and said "oh, by the way I'm coming back next year". I'm afraid those days are gone. NIL has ruined college football.

 

If anything, if this 13 mil reported number is true, Players will stay another year instead of jumping to the NFL too early. If Rashada is making 4 mil a year (this is just an example I don’t actually believe that number) why would he leave early? Make another 4 mil and get that extra year of development.

maybe I explained it poorly but I could see the people who aren’t bonafide first round picks staying longer for further development, because they are being compensated.

 

College football as we knew and loved it is dead. It will never come back.

Correct, but this is not pro sports - at least it used to not be when my interest was at it's peak. These days my interest is rapidly waning. Hate it as it is about all that I have left in the area of sports.
