Heitner? I don't think he is lying. The guy has a great relationship with the athletic department, Levin, and the university as a whole. He's also FBK. I can't imagine he would be short-sighted enough to jeopardize all that for a little bit larger of a payday. It doesn't make sense. He would stand to profit far more with an ongoing strong relationship with the university. These rumors got started because he's chummy with Ruiz.

 

Sounds like it. Making the kid look like an ass too. Apologies may be in order. I absolutely despite the leaches known as lawyers.

 

This would hardly be the biggest whiplash we've all felt today though.

I assume represented UF means the collective and not the university since that’s who the deal would be with, So why wouldn’t he be eligible for compensation?

 

Maybe something was signed back when he was a Miami commitment that was left simmering by a Miami person until they could pull it out for maximum PR damage?

 

This is also another prime example of the lack of competent leadership in our athletic and nil departments. Stuff like this should NEVER happen
