I want him, but the reality is he was redshirting this year as he needs to add a lot of bulk to his frame. So we can stop gap as long as the portal remains a free for all and as long as Lagway hits campus next year.

I just worry if the ask was not more money, but an issue with our NIL opportunity provider getting him the promised money. That will ripple through recruiting, and hamper CBN from doing his job.

Just reading between the lines....This is all about his agent trying a last minute ask for more money and UF most likely said 'no, we already have an agreement' and the agent over stepped his authority and either leaked to the press or allowed word to get out that he wasn't happy. The problem is it appears the agent didn't bother to consult with his client and his family. He probably told Rashada he was going to ask for a bit more but the agent overplayed his cards and the Gators called him on it. I think Rashada really wants to go to Gainesville as there is a HUGE opportunity for him to play as a true freshmen and if he has the goods then he knows from this moment he is two years from the NFL. It should be interesting to see how this plays out.

No need to get mad at anyone involved yet. This is all part of the negotiating game.

 

That last post you made on the other thread is enlightening. Makes me think you’re original post about that guy may have some legs. He’s obviously doing damage control and trying to deflect and make people think he’s not as involved in this as he is.
