Been quiet on this but I think if these folks are getting large sums of money to play then they also need to be treated like adults and learn that breach of contracts have consequences. Can’t just let everything slide or we will continue to get punked on a national stage.

Unless this was on UF and we fell short on the original NIL deal, then we should 100% own up and let him loose.

If admin has decided that football does not matter any more, we need the memo so we can adjust our expectations and plans accordingly.
If they don't give a shit, why should we?

If we can't meet our NIL obligations then we absolutely should release him or this will be far worse.

Well for one at other schools they have more options. You can be sure Alabama, UGA or OSU would just move on to the next incoming 5*.

Billy is going to have to coach up some players here, build the foundation if you will, before we'll be seriously competing for the top players again. I'd bet many would overlook lackluster nil prospects if they thought our coaches could boost their draft prospects. Do you think they could? Personally I'm not too sure there.

Evers would really be in a good place at UF now. Sorry, Mrs. Evers.

you can’t win in college ball when you don’t sign at least a 4 star QB each class. 2 years without a QB is a death spiral

    I agree.

Your a man making big money, you put pen to paper, now you are trying to more…
Sit for a year, and BTW your NIL just got cancelled.

This entire NIL thing across the college football landscape is quickly getting out of control. I was in favor of athletes making money but not under a system with no accountability, parameters or regulations.

Yep, there was talk that the SCUM may try to get him more and then he would now squeeze UF to match after the fact.

    I say go pound sand.

Be a man of your word you agree to something and sign fine back out there are consequences.

Grown up money, grown up time.

And by making him honor his NIL it takes the 13Th renegotiation off the table.

Sends a message be up front and we come to a deal we are good, if now don’t play with us.

His loss. Aint no bricks falling out of Century Tower. F'im if he wants to shop his fickle backside elsewhere. Last thing the program needs is another QB playing for his agent, groomer or anyone else but his teammates and coaches.

We’re gonna let him loose either way. UF won’t want the bad pr associated with fighting about it.

    If that’s the case.
So far little mention of that.

I’ve heard more of him trying to get more.
