Not convinced it is going to be Beck in 2023.

UGA scored on every possession in the first half and 10 of 12 possessions overall (including the victory formation to end the game).

Top-shelf talent on top of talent on top of talent.

You’re dreaming if you think UF is gonna catch them in talent, no chance.

Top 20 signed 2023 HS players in the state of Florida:
    UGA - 7
    UF - 0

    This must change!

It may have already been mentioned but was this the largest margin of victory ever in the NC game? It looked like a Div 1 vs Div 2 team

Man, Bennet sure did turn into a cocky SOB over the last year, or so. Seems like he used to be a nice humble transfer. Last night he was a pompous ass at every camera opportunity, even when he was on the sidelines.

We couldn’t even come up with a TD in our bowl game.

Also the biggest bowl game blowout of the year, and, the biggest blowout of Georgia's season, too.

The only way this changes is over time, with hard work and stability.

There are no short cuts or tricks that will make up this deficit.

That's because "we" weren't "we." "We" were the few Gator players who bothered to suit up. Bowl games are absolutely meaningless now with the playoffs. Players don't care about them, so why should fans?

Portal will help on the edges, but it won't make the big difference.

You are not going to find game changing players there for the most part and if you do, its only one or two year fix.

Portal will mostly be the guys who couldn't beat out UGA and Alabama starters.

You can fill holes, but don't try to build a team with them.

I see how many here keep looking for short cuts because they want to see us get even with UGA in a year or so. It's a fools errand and not the right way to do it.

He is a motivator and like NS demands excellence. Get used to bama/uga for the next several years. When we cannot sniff a top 5 class we're not going to catch up and not with this set of coaches we have now imo. They have a bulldog, we have Mr. Rogers.

Sure name me more teams with an NFL coach as a coordinator. Then show me teams that have no OC and let me know the difference. The excuses we make for Billy is incredible.

Yes, they did. We didn't. So the game was pointless.

This is probably the bigger point. While Monken has spend a decent amount of time in the NFL, he's still a career 50/50 college vs NFL. It's not like Smart necessarily targeted a NFL coach. He just targeted a good coach who happened to have a decent amount of NFL experience.

Coach Napier did not get hired because he is a great OC. He got hired because he profiled as a great CEO. He has he tools of UF's money and prestige to find a great OC.

Their oline and dline were dominant. They won back to back national titles with a QB that might be the last pick in the draft.
you need a serviceable high IQ qb that doesn't turn the ball over and makes plays with their feet when needed.
They are a true team for sure -- besides the TE's no dominant offensive players, but obviously the TE's are impossible to deal with.

Unfortunately it is the way of the world now. It's all what can you do for me right now, next year be damned, meanwhile if you look around most of the programs that make the CFP have established coaching staffs that don't get fired from a couple down seasons in a row and are instead allowed to build their vision of a program before being judged as a failure or winner.
