Look at my entire post, then look at what you quoted. Are they the same, or did you purposely leave an important part of my post out? This is 2nd grade level stuff, genius. Typical lowbrow righty fake news tactics.

He quoted it word for word. Not sure what you are seeing? Explain it and put him down or admit you are wrong and move in.

I’m not explaining shit. My original post is right there and he didn’t quote me properly by purposely leaving out a key part of my post, that’s his problem not mine.

I'd say you have lost your credibility here but you never had any. You have just verified to everybody that you are a bigger joke than we all thought you were. Quit playing games and go back to playing with yourself or whatever it is you do when you aren't here making a fool out of yourself.

Hello! I blame gun owning fascination of selfishness in ownership of a metal toy that is sold like candy, regulated less than a woman's rights and obsessed so greatly that a normal church going individual will defend that piece of steel as if Jesus himself is making it.
Guns Suck! Guns must be regulated to the point that most finally understand v that the ol "I hunt" thing is bullshit! I care as little about your gun as you do about people dying from guns.

The problem with gun violence in this country is that it is way out of proportion to any other developed country in the world. The US, in 2022, had 4 gun deaths per 100,000. The second highest was Cyprus at 0.628/100,000. So, for the anti-gun control people, what do you attribute the exceedingly high gun fatalities? My own interpretation is that we have a very permissive gun culture and no training, or development of responsible gun ownership, before owning a gun. In countries such as Sweden, where gun ownership exceeds the US per capita, extensive training including mental behavioral assessments are made as part of the right to own a gun. Would the anti-gun control crowd be on-board with a national well-regimented path to gun ownership like in Sweden, as part of the Second Amendment?

I’ve been very vocal about a tiered licensing method for guns involving gun training
Two points though. The vast majority of gun violence is from criminals not following the gun laws we have right now. Changing and adding to them only inhibit the law abiding.
Often when I bring up making training part of the gun buying process I get
“NO! We don’t want to train people how to shoot their guns better.. we want less guns”.
It may not only the anti gun control crowd that disagrees with your idea.

Did he quote anything I wrote after the word “if”? No. Then he did not quote me “word for word” therefore I have zero interest in going back and forth someone who didn’t quote me correctly. You can take your cape off for your buddy now.

The wealthiest country in the world has the most criminals apparently. The majority of mass shooters have no criminal record. They become criminals only after the fact. And they can easily acquire guns legally no matter how unstable they are, or how many threats they've made on social media.

The country has to start somewhere, unfortunately what I see are red states making it even easier to own and carry around a gun. And when people readily carry, legally, drink and get into an argument, a gun comes out. Now they are criminals.

Maybe .. but I would challenge your take if n the majority of mass shooters have no criminal record. Mass shooters are not limited to the ones that get headlines. Anytime 4 or more “victims” are involved it is a mass shooting…
And I would make an addendum. Most mass shooters have a criminal record OR red flags (known to LE as a potential threat of some kind). I would again argue that the vast vast majority of licensed legal gun owners are not the o es shooting up our neighborhoods and schools.
Would you be willing to incarcerate anyone found to be carrying h illegally? Anyone using a gun in a crime gets automatic 10 years. Anyone with an u registered handgun gets an automatic five years. Are you willing to make the penalty so harsh for anyone carrying illegally that it becomes a detriment?

So .. yes, he quoted your whole post. He challenged or questioned OnLY the first part. Not the same thing. Posts are routinely picked apart and challenged on this board. He quoted your whole post, the. Challenges the asinine statement you made in the first half, leaving the second half (after the word if) as a stand alone statement. In essence he gives everything after the if and challenges your hypothesis.

At this point one of two things is becoming obvious.
One. You are a child unwilling to concede a mistake.
Two. You do not understand what you have been arguing throughout the day.

So either you are immature and petulant or you are extremely ignorant. Not sure I care which it is.
    Have a good evening

You're not going to incarcerate your way out of this problem. As long as it's easy to access guns, this problem isn't going away. And there's not much we can do to limit people's access to guns as long as Republicans get to decide what the Second Amendment means. So there's no solving this problem. Instead, we'll continue to have constant shootings and hope that a person we love doesn't end up in the line of fire.

What is your plan for the over 330 million guns already in America? Confiscate them?
We clearly disagree. And that is ok. I have not yet seen a plan from either side that will address gun violence. Ban ar 15- they are a minuscule percentage of mass showings and murders. Limit magazine capacity on AR 15… doesn’t do a thing to sop the drive by shootings with 9mm pistols.

There is no solution. The radical and fictional interpretation Republicans in the federal judiciary have put in place of the Second Amendment has made any meaningful solution impossible. Limiting access to firearms (both in terms of how people access them and where they're allowed to have them) is the best way to reduce gun deaths.
The FBI and CDC Datasets Agree: Who Has Guns—Not Which Guns—Linked to Murder Rates
Three types of laws could reduce gun deaths by more than 10%
