I feel for her losing her daughter but it was a clean shot that resulted from a series of bad decisions by Babbitt. Sounds like mama needs a reality check

Who knew the three wise men built a gallows, chanted to hang Joseph, and stormed into the barn past barricades? Learn something new every day.

It’s the anniversary of her daughters death, so I guess cut her some slack.

But I’ve seen some other clips of her that suggests she has issues not unlike Ashley. Even if you are grieving, that “ain’t” no way to behave.

I’ve never heard anything of her before but just based on her behavior recently she seems to be a bit detached from reality

Neo prog Day of feigned outrage
Aka day protesting was criminalized in US ( IF not approved from on high by the NeoProg Party) aka the day the first Amendment died.

Neither had I until i checked back into this cesspool and was prompted to look her up. Here is a pretty level headed take, which one can easily extrapolate to understand why the mother of the deceased might be impelled to give voice to a well grounded grievance (even if one thinks ultimately it was a good shoot):

Did Babbit's mother have the appropriate permits to protest where she was in D. C.? No. If you or I attained the appropriate permits today, could we protest there tomorrow? Yes. Please explain how this belies the death of the 1st Amendment?

I also thought destruction of property and deaths were not considered an appropriate form of protest. How many times were we reminded here of the property destruction caused by the Floyd protests in an attempt to deligitimize the movement?

Last, maybe some self reflection is due. You equate what is supposed to be an historic, peaceful moment, when your King of Kings is born, with a violent protest where people died, the crowd was chanting "Hang Mike Pence!", property was destroyed, and the crowd beat people with whatever they could get their hands on. Really think Jesus would approve of the Jan 6 actions?

What % of officer involved shootings result in indictments of the officer? I find it strange he’s comparing Babbit to blatant cases like the Breanna Taylor (blindly firing through a wall) or George Floyd killings(10 minute choke out). While the guy doesn’t come off as an extremist, even indicating he thought the Breonna Taylor/Louisville PD indictments and lack of prosecutions were “a sham”, he doesn’t seem all that reasonable to even raise these as parallels. Like most YouTubers, just wasted several minutes of my time with his pseudo expertise.

    I did no such thing.

I categorically did NOT *equate* your J6 holiday with the Feast of the Epiphany.

I remind that January 6 = the feast of the Epiphany.

Your toxic memorial is a pathetic attemp to pirate a legitimate Holy day.

    Happy 'three kings' day.

    ;)

If you didn't equate J6 to the image I'm quoting from your post, then please explain yourself.

That attorney does not appear to be particularly experienced and his legal analysis is deeply flawed.

I know that Washington DC is not in Florida, but just take a look at when Florida authorizes the uses of deadly force:

Florida Statute 776.012 Use or threatened use of force in defense of person.—
    (1) A person is justified in using or threatening to use force, except deadly force, against another when and to the extent that the person reasonably believes that such conduct is necessary to defend himself or herself or another against the other’s imminent use of unlawful force. A person who uses or threatens to use force in accordance with this subsection does not have a duty to retreat before using or threatening to use such force.
    (2) A person is justified in using or threatening to use deadly force if he or she reasonably believes that using or threatening to use such force is necessary to prevent imminent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself or another or to prevent the imminent commission of a forcible felony. A person who uses or threatens to use deadly force in accordance with this subsection does not have a duty to retreat and has the right to stand his or her ground if the person using or threatening to use the deadly force is not engaged in a criminal activity and is in a place where he or she has a right to be.

Florida Statute 776.08 Forcible felony.—“Forcible felony” means treason; murder; manslaughter; sexual battery; carjacking; home-invasion robbery; robbery; burglary; arson; kidnapping; aggravated assault; aggravated battery; aggravated stalking; aircraft piracy; unlawful throwing, placing, or discharging of a destructive device or bomb; and any other felony which involves the use or threat of physical force or violence against any individual.

    Who “went after” the mother?

The mother went after the Capitol police! As I said, understandable she is operating on emotion rather than logic, if she were logical she’d recognize her daughters own actions are what cost her life. It appears to me she went in there hoping to cause a disturbance or get herself arrested. Mission accomplished I guess.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Actually, his 'analysis' was highly restrained. He posited questions, and pointed to issues that may have been inadequately addressed. He did not bite on the conspiracy theory mentioned by a real time poster to his podcast, and shared some other takes.

NB: Not waving the neo prog pom poms, does not quite rise to actual direct opposition (which ought yo be welcomed anyway--well, outside of echo chambers that desire perfect harmony...).

Which is why I get generally don’t make a habit of going down YouTube rabbit holes. I remember people used to bitch about “talking heads” giving opinions on TV. What is YouTube? Infinite taking heads. The point seems to be nothing other than finding a video of someone reinforcing one’s own point of view. Bizarre.
