National Championship 2022 Game Thread: (3) TCU vs. (1) Georgia, Monday, 1-9-23 at 7:30pm on ESPN

Thanks Bazza- I guess this is the last FB game thread!

It's kind of hard not to pull for TCU, particularly seeing Georgia is the opponent. As much as I'm a SEC homer...sometimes you just gotta pull for the underdog. Not the big dawg.

The only hope for TCU is for Georgia to falter - and they are susceptible. But TCU needs to play lights out. If they can disrupt Bennett, and we know he can get rattled, it is possible. He also rises to the occasion. I like TCU in this one. Just because the alternative blows. When I think of the alternative my mind goes: delete, delete, delete!

If 'team parity' is truly alive and well, this is their big chance! Go TCU! They gotta stay strong in the second half. I know, Captain obvious speaks again.

Monday night? I have as much interest in this game as I do watching some estrogen laced tear jerker movie/show/reality c--p. Hey, I think there are some grapes (sour?) in the frig.

 

Unfortunately I see the Dawgs pulling away from TCU. Their athletes are superior. Hopefully UG takes them for granted

 

Regardless of our Gator hatred for Georgia, respectfully, to our SEC brethren...people hate Georgia, people hate Bama, people used to hate us. People (other than Ga folks) pull for us now. It is my hope people will hate us soon again-which means we're doing something right.

It's hard not to like TCU in this. Who cares about logic, recruiting, stars? If college ball is alive and well, it's about due for a huge shakeup. What would be more of a shakeup then TCU beating Georgia? I mean Appalachian State beating Michigan way back when, was huge. But this would be seriously Double Extra-Large! Is parity alive and well?

My sentiments exactly, #### THE SEC. No title that UGA or any of these other so called brethren wins, will ever make its way to Gainesville.

I'd pull for ISIS if they played Georgia.

Think I'll hang out with Peyton Manning and watch the new season of Emily in Paris instead.
