10ish spots left is correct. Last numbers I saw were just slightly under that, but it’s right there in that range. Hopefully we are pretty close to filling all those spots before spring, I think we will be. We’ll likely have a few more departures during/after spring, so we’ll have a few more spots to refill then before the fall.

 

His 3.5 sacks over three years have them drooling?

 

Well, despite having a big lead, we still struggled to keep him off of our QB. It isn't just what he does, it is what he allows others of his DL to do. It's like Jalen Carter, he didn't fill up his stat sheet against us, especially when his snaps were against O'Cyrus, but he helped the DL get after us. AR had to get the ball out quicker than he wanted.

 

Yea we are in a prime position to take advantage. Let’s hope we see some positive results as right now we aren’t doing great compared to our competition in the portal.

 

We can't definitively say that we are doing good or bad. We have 4 of the maybe 10 to 12 players we will get, and only 2 of them have transfer ratings. For reference everyone of FSU's has a transfer rating, so their class looks like an incredible class until the players from the SEC, B1G, 12, and PAC start getting transfer ratings, and only a third of those top 50 transfers are in the top 50 any more.

 

Good luck to the young man. I don't know that I would have continued football after his medical condition, but I'm sure he has the dream to play in the NFL, and I hope he makes it and stays healthy.

 

IMO, the transfer rankings are questionable at best. Seems to be thought in about 25% of it and the rest is just throwing names on a list for social media shares.

Was 205 out of hs. Not sure where he is now but hitting the portal after first year? What’s the story.
