My first 2 options for 2 yards aren't even traditional RBs

    Tebow
    Harvin

Emmitt was before my time. But my time hasn't produced exceptional RBs so I will default to the HOFer and all time leading rusher in the NFL.

Dameon Pierce — just so I could see him actually in the game getting the ball when we’re on the goal line instead of some other back. Lost track of how many times I screamed at the TV in the years when he was here and we are on the goal line and he unbelievably was watching from the sideline.

Any list of best Gator RB begins with Emmitt Smith. It's tempting to mention Rhett, Pierce, FredT, or C4, but if I need a two yd TD and only get to pick one, I'm going with Emmitt.

Play: I formation, toss sweep. John L Williams as the up back leading the way.

Emmitt Smith. I usually don’t say this about guys but…check out his thighs. Huge!

    Tebow.

Ya, I know, not technically a running back. But who do you have more faith in that the job WILL get done than him?

Not to take away from the RB of choice here but I think what line they run behind also needs attention. If you say Emmitt with his line to run behind, or Anderson/Williams/Hampton running behind the Great Wall of Florida, or Tebow/Harvin running behind the Pounceys each group of linemen deserve notice. If the RB stays with their line I'd go with Anderson/Williams behind the Great Wall. You could argue that Emmitt was good with or without much blocking but why not choose the best slobber knockers when you can.

Spot on, especially since Anderson could take off at the two yard line and land two yards in the end zone.

In this specific situation, I would say Dameon Pierce. Dude is strong.
