Biggest disappointment thus far. Not even sure why he's playing, at this point. He's not a threat to score. He rarely attacks the basket. His defense is supbar. I'm just not impressed.
We had to go through White having to work through his own inexperience, and then SS decides he needs someone with even less experience. I like Golden, but not sure what to make of it.
I chat on several gator boards. Seems golden really wore out his welcome super quick. Everyone seemed so excited when he was hired. Recent team performance has seen a total 180. With the team struggling so much for a few weeks can the staff try some other lineups? More Kugel? Richard? lane? Someone?
Got it...just wanted to understand. So fire Golden and hope we hire the right guy in 3 years. It is what it is. Maybe we will be fine in 2026?
Not a bad half, I think we may get to 50 points, which is really cool. Love how unselfish this team is.
Didn’t watch the first half because I just can’t take it anymore. So far, a good choice. A few years ago I’d be in the ICU if I were missing a game.
He does demand attention. And he does need help. But he needs to realize double and triple teams are coming and move the ball fast before they come. Instead he drives to the baseline into a triple team and then holds the ball looking for an outlet. Smarter play is to catch and move the ball to someone else and reset closer to basket or not dribble to the baseline out of position to get double and triple teamed. He has more turnovers than points in the first half.
He has to do something different. He doesn't even try anything different. Same crap. Castleton should have been pulled after the tech. Maybe try a smaller lineup, maybe try zone, different players, push the freaking ball...something different because this is not working.
^* I’M JUST KIDDING with the above. The question was asked… I think TG is better for the future of this program… for several reasons. I can detail those later. Back to the game. Cmon gators!
