And people here got down right apoplectic when I suggested hiring Kendal Briles to be our PC a few years ago. He still has some of his dads stank on him.

 

Yah, was'nt/is Jimbo A&M's OC last year and now (until Petrino signs)? I'm definitely in the high octane O camp, when it comes to making an offense move up and down the field. Hoping like hell that our new players will thrive in a full throttle system (whoevers system that is or becomes) next year and beyond.

I don’t agree with the notion that we should hire scumbags just because other teams do.

I would like for Billy to hire a high level OC though. I won’t relentlessly beat that horse, but I would like it.

 

They want to win SOOO bad. Their big money is doing everything they can to make it happen. They have spared no expense on anything, but still can’t just can’t get it done. I almost feel bad for them. Almost.

 

I think his dad was the actual scumbag... but maybe something that Kendal said was the crux of his drop in the public's eye. He said, paraphrasing, that white woman (in college I suppose) love to date football players. Something along those lines.

Even if he's right he would have been better off not saying that.

 

I wasn’t necessarily saying anything specific about Kendall, but I do believe he was at least as complicit as his father was in most of the mess at Baylor. He was too involved there to not know what was happening. Should he be blackballed, and out of any future job like his pops? Meh, I don’t care enough to weigh in on it, but he’s got enough stank on him that he wouldn’t be on my short list for a UF position.

They are both scummy. One cheated on his wife. The other looked the other way while his dad covering up a culture of rape. Those are different levels of scum.
