All I see online is a Bama Colorado competition for McClain. Again, it's funny to look back and see how wrong everyone got it with this kid when they said he doesn't enjoy the recruiting process and just wants to shut it down. Yikes

 

Actions speak louder than words and at that time his actions consisted of nothing. Visits to UM and UF is all he had done when people said that. So not really sure what else could be said?

 

He was oddly quiet yes but I'm not sure conclusions that were made just from that should have been made. If anything a guy like Kelby Collins or Jordan Castell exhibited true commitment where an assumption like that could be made.

In Any event, I'm not faulting anyone here. Just an observation.

Yup. Bobby has been calling it for a while now. The later they commit the less likely they are actually coming. Not always but it's been a trend for a while

 

No, the national analysts for these rankings services will just say, "but we wanted to see more of that consistency in his high school season and camp circuits that we didn't see to make him a 5 star."

 

Guys like Castell, Collins, JJ, Wilson, mizell and their unwavering, outspoken commitment through tough times are the only thing helping me keep any interest in what has become of college sports.

 

CBN has said it and it showed this year, and it bears out over the years, UF is not a place that gets boosters or now NIL orgs to swoop in later in the process and make a big *** offer like Bama, Georgia, LSU, aTm and OSU do. I don't expect that to change, but it probably will keep us competitive in NIL (from not overpaying) with the non-basket cases like Kelby Collins and Jakeem Jackson and Wilson for the foreseeable future.

 

At least 30 or 40 spots with a plus .98 rating. Jackson and Castell will move up as well. Kamran James is making a big impression at the All American Bowl practices. Might see a bump for him.

 

I agree what you all have said about Cormani but he what if he had come here. We would called it confidence.

 

yea I can see that too. If they want to utilize overspending a bit for HS kids, I dont mind it being at QB like we (may have) did for Rashada and Lagway. Easier to recruit when you have a star studded QB locked up, especially locking one up early
