I’m not. Been off the grid for while and am not interested in the macabre circus that will follow this guy. If he is found guilty I hope he receives the death penalty.

After Kohberger is extradited to Idaho and makes his appearance in court there the police will be able to release their probable cause affidavit. We should learn a lot more about the evidence against Kohberger at that time possibly including whether he stalked one or more of the victims and how his DNA was obtained.

My thought. When does he lawyer get an idea of what the prosecution has as far as evidence? Lawyer might know he is a lost cause and telling the suspect… your only hope is an insanity plea…
I would think it would be hard to pass off though considering he is an accomplished grad student, teaching classes, took extreme care to cover his tracks.. etc…

Maybe a lawyer can chime in, but I've been told that insanity doesn't work if you took steps to cover up the crime ... that shows you knew it was wrong.

The daily mail is the only outlet I see reporting the genitalia self mutilation stuff and crazy act in the holding cell … and they are rated low reliability… may not be true.

From a slightly more reliable source…

The Monroe County Correctional Facility warden informed officials that Kohberger has been a “model prisoner” who has not caused any problems during his time in detention, according to a source familiar with Kohberger’s status at the facility.

He has been “quiet” and “followed directions,” according to the source.

You actually linked raw story, but raw story was quoting the daily mail. Raw Story is a hit/miss website, they seem to mostly take other people’s stories and rewrite them…

Turns out he was stopped twice on his cross country trip (on body camera). Never heard of someone being pulled over for driving too close to a semi

Perhaps off topic, or a reach, but recently we were driving through a neighboring state on a stretch of hwy where troopers were pulling a bunch of folks over. Saw at least three or four, then I got pulled over. Was nine over and the trooper gave a warning. Doesn't seem that that's a good use of this trooper's time, so was wondering if they were looking for someone/something. I think Kohlbergers in Indiana was likely a coincidence, but perhaps they were looking for someone/something.

Similar thing happened to me I was driving outside in a group of 3-4?cars all going around 100. I had passed a nondescript small SUV and my passenger said that’s a cop! Sure enough he lit me up. I pulled over right away but he drove past and affixed himself to a semi truck for at least a couple of miles before he pulled him over. I gather he was part of a smuggling task force.

Wow. Nine over is ridiculous (outside you were F1 cutting through traffic lol).

We took the kiddos to Savannah over winter break for two nights. Georgia always has their troopers ready at exits. On the way up did not see many. But coming back saw five or six pulled over North Bound at different exits and a cop ready to go at one point.

Florida is a different story. No real enforcement.

Always get a chuckle out of this…
