Day should be having facking nightmares from that 4th qtr. Clock management & play calling. The db falling happens, but I'm not playing man w/o safety help when secondary has been getting cooked all game.

And that sequence of plays before that kick. Qb playing the game of damn life, let him win or lose it for you.

It was a good game... but not the outcome I wanted obviously. These fackers done made a "bloodpact" with bezelbub or something. Smh

 

OSU had 2 & 5 at the mutts 18 (with about 3 minutes left). They were down by 3 at the time (38-35). Mutts came with an all out blitz - which everyone except Stroud and Day saw coming. Had he checked off to a quick slant or screen the loss would have never happened. Stroud takes a 12 yard loss, and at that point OSU kicks the filed goal to go up by 6... that's when i knew the game was over. In the 4th qtr, Day tightened up with terrible play calling and Stroud also tightened up with execution. OSU was moving the ball but froze when they got near the red zone.
We have a long road ahead of us to get back into consistently being able to beat top teams.. It's going to take time to rebuild but i think CBN will get us there. I despise Georgia, however they are really solid and I think Smart and Bennett are very under-rated by most of us.

Let me ask you. If you were commentating on a playoff game Florida was playing in, would you praise the adversary as much as the Gators? It is not even realistic!

 

Georgia can’t keep on relying on Wide receivers getting injured to win!

 

I'd wish I could agree. They have done this by doing everything that we have refused to do for the last decade or so.

It's actually sad and was completely preventable. No one enjoyed our 20+ years of success against them any more than I did.

 

Losing Marvin Harrison in the second half was a killer. He was eating up Georgia’s secondary.

I woke up with indigestion, thinking it was due to the cranberry sauce, but realized it's from the way last night's game ended.

 

I turned the channel at the beginning of the 4th quarter. I knew how this would end and preferred not to see it.

Bennett started out shaky, there's no doubt about it. I wouldn't say he didn't play well, though. Both he and Stroud went 23/34, with Stroud passing for 348, 4TDs, 0ints. Bennett passed for 398, 3TDs and 1int. Those are pretty impressive numbers.
