I’ve said this several times- per a family friend that works in UF admin (NOT the UAA, so take with a grain of salt)… the perception, right or wrong, is that UF lacks major booster buy-in and want-to in terms of doing what it takes to win in the NIL era.

Not enough Hathcocks, in quantity and quality, if you will. Not that there aren’t potentials out there- tons of ultra-wealthy UF supporters, of course. Just not enough willing to stoop to the level of the UGAs, Bamas, Miamis, ATMs, etc.

It's because Wealthy UF grads know it's would be akin to burning cash. There are far better ROIs then fleeting bragging rights.
