I watched probably the two most stupid plays of the day. First, it was Pitt and UNC and hoops and then ND and the Chickens. With about 20 seeconds left Pitt has the ball up 5 so a player near the basket pulls up to run time off. He passes to a teammate near the basket and he decides he needs a dunk. UNC gets the ball back and Love throws up a 3 off the backboard with 4 seconds left so they are down by 4. Pitt player on the inbounds dribbles off his leg and UNC score under the basket on the inbounds with 2 seconds left, down by 2. UNC knocks the inbounds out and Pitt gets the ball back with 1 second left with inbounds on the sideline, up by 2. Here's the scary part for Pitt fans. Rather than throwing it to the other end of the court the ball is thrown to a Pitt player cutting toward the UNC basket, tightly guarded. That's absolutely nuts. They win by 2 but almost lost.
