Once again it's time to quote the well-known philosopher John McEnroe.

"...he was a student investigator for a survey that explored people’s actions, thoughts,
and feelings when they committed crimes."

Clearly a sick individual who needs to spend the rest of their lives behind bars...or die.

Sounds like they got their guy. DNA and his car matches the one they were looking for.

Seems like a random killing so far ... those are pretty hard to solve so good job by the police.

If it was random, you have to wonder if this guy was a serial killer -- or future serial killer. Also wonder if he was working on his PhD in Criminology to study ways to get away with this kind of stuff.

The murder clearance rate is only slightly over 50/50 so he must be dumb as a rock then.

Well to be fair, maybe 1 percent of murders have the FBI involved, along with the entire local and probably state resources helping.
It’s pretty clear this guy had these predilections for a long while. Him going into the study area he chose wasn’t a coincidence. I would be shocked if they didn’t turn up starter crimes from him either.

I'm sure this reminds many of the Danny rolling and Ted Bundy murders, sadly. S/b a small positive for the victims families.

Good to see law enforcement get the guy and thank the media for their help. That doesn't always happen.

Weird that he was a criminology grad student. Might make him harder to convict, ya never know.
