Any concerns when starters enter the portal?

man if we even had the 50th ranked D, we only have one reg season L and that would be to UGA. Just staggering how bad we were defensively last year regardless of where you place the blame at. I can excuse getting lit up by UT and UGA and to a degree FSU, but any other team shouldn’t have been able to be as effective on us as they were this past year. Inexcusable

 

I doubt our line gives the griund game we had last year though. Let’s hope our passing game is much better.

Love to see it but we are currently 31 and they are 1, so not likely. They’ve signed 2 number 1 ranked guys at their positions. Both positions we have great need at.

Don’t Forget, they are not done as they lead for a very good DB from Virginia Fentrell Cypress and May end up with Tarquin.

When you say comparable I’d expect our portal transfer class to be top 3.

 

Are we really back to being jealous about FSU getting a #1 TE who is 6'2" and 210 lbs. and whose skillset is better covered by someone who is already on our roster and a DL who ND says they way overpaid for?

 

Just let it play out, we will be fine in the portal. And we are not taking a TE, we have 6 and they love Boardingham.

 

Not disagreeing here re: QB play, but our defense has been a hot mess for two years now. Watching USF and Vandy march down the field consistently as if we put a high school D out there was embarassing.

 

Dude. They signed the best of what was available. Which is people leaving their current school due to WHO KNOWS what reason. Let’s keep in mind they are signing the biggest and best (in some sense) losers. The ones who couldn’t make plays at their current school or got past up on the depth chart. There is literally one of those players I wouldn’t mind having, the DT. That’s it. Let’s be honest without selves and not get caught up in the emotional response behind seeing the #1 next to FSU in something other than arrests

 

And Vandy played us better than FSU did. Vandys defense did so much better than FSUs. Let’s not act like that FSU win over UF was impressive for them. Even though they stormed the field like it was their Super Bowl

 

I will. You said our class would be comparable to their class. I am saying it it won’t.
