LSU threw for > 500 yards vs UGa. I think that would have been a better comparison than UF to OSU's passing game based on what I've seen from both teams this year.

Anyone but uga personally. Depends on Ohio's Offensive/Defensive line. Think they get georgia's secondary, but I don't trust their defense to get enough stops

Kirby must be referring to type of plays we run, pass patterns, blocking schemes, run/pass ratio or something other than performance this year.
Smart doesn’t usually provide a lot of bulletin board material for opposing teams, I don’t think, but the way this article is written he may have done just that. Buckeyes may construe that as comparing them to a 6-7 team who Georgia beat by 3 TD’s.

Yes, exactly what he's talking about. Some people never read the article and you can tell who didn't read it.

OSU has already given UGA bulletin board material. One of their idiot players at the press conference said they have “advantages over Georgia everywhere.”

On a side note, funny how the rivalry works. This rivalry is back to the pre-Spurrier era with UGA flat out owning UF now. They have their OBC that hates the Gators, went 1-3 in Jax against them, and is on a mission to punk UF in every way he can. Sound familiar?

Younger Gators are getting to see what it was like pre-Spurrier. Dawgs will be able to name their score next season.

Respectfully, a little faith would be good - we could do better next year, who knows? They could falter. No one knows until you play the game. First sentence is correct. They better enjoy their wins, because we sure will when the tide turns. When it gets to a home and home we should be pretty respectable.

    Go Gators.

    Foot in mouth much.

Considering the article didn’t mention or quote Smart, I’d say no one read the damn thing.

OP’s thread title is way off.

Yep... what Schumann is talking about, not Kirby Smart.

"I think there’s some carryover to Florida in terms of the type of sets and run game they have as well and some of the passing game concepts that show up there,” Schumann said, per Saturday Down South. “So I think there’s little pieces. I mean, guys, football is — you can watch 6 different teams and see carryover from each team, so there’s a little piece of what they do offensively in everybody we’ve played to an extent.”

Its a completely misleading stat. Almost 300 of the passing yards came after halftime, where Georgia was already up 35-10. Georgia ran a completely different defense in the second half, went vanilla on offense, and LSU still never got within 3 scores. I've seen it mentioned several times "LSU put up 500 yards on them, just wait and see what OSU does", and it's not exactly a realistic comparison.

Apparently, you read too much into my title! The comparison was easily understandable if you read the article.

Like a Dawg fan in the 90s hoping a team would shut the OBC up. Rarely happened.

I’m afraid Kirby Smart is going to dominate us like Spurrier did them.

It’s misleading. I read the article and Smart was not mentioned or quoted. It’s clickbait.

    Do better.
