Having talented players available was somehow not the responsibility of the fired coach? Talent acquisition is the name of the game. CBN was hired to flip the roster.
Football - a team sport with 85+ players on the roster is hardly a linear dynamic that one can predict with confidence in terms of how the team will perform...if that was the case then Bama will be in the playffs this year....You never know what we will get in 2023, but never underestimate the potential of a transformed team culture and additional pieces through the portal/recruiting class...etc. 8-4 is very doable...
Break out your checkbook, I’m spending my cash onnPanic in Nashville. Send yours to tgat qb so that we can beat Kentucky next year.
8-4 means we beat the cupcakes and I don’t mean the teams that should never be on a power 5 field. 8-4 is not good. That’s Kentucky good.
True. But given where we are- if we can do 8-4, compete against the big dogs and recruit a top 5 class- that’s a positive step…
just because they are in the portal does not mean they will transfer. If it is an NIL / money issue UF can get them back, If it is other that money .........well, bye........
We had the best OL we have had in a decade, the best single OL at UF since Pouncey and 2 fantastic running backs and we still sucked.
true but the best in a decade was still only average. Couldn’t consistently open holes, not a good line.
Then Georgia's line is not good this year? A lot of our detailed OL numbers are statistically insignificant in difference from them or better. For example, we were much better than them in short yardage conversion, which generally suggests better power running.
