The shots have done nothing since omicron. Advising a healthy young person to take one at this point is just not good medicine. Thank goodness our doctors on the front lines understand this. Our idiots in public health have scared a small percentage with their propaganda unfortunately. The evil is the poor kids who have parents that have unfortunately fallen for the propaganda…

Many died here before Vaccines were in use.

We still know who is at highest risk for a bad outcome, that really hasn’t changed since it ripped through Italy in Feb/March of 2020.

Had China not gone zero covid they would have far more background immunity and wouldn’t be dealing with it now while the rest of the world has mostly gotten over it.
Granted their HC system isn’t great and can’t handle the volume the US can.

That study is complete garbage. It compared incident rates for those who had Covid from Jan 20 through March 21 (don’t remember the exact days). So the alpha variant as the delta variant entered. They then compared that to people who received the shot by March 21 (so small window at the back end of the virus for a shot that at that point had been primarily given to elderly people/I closed the window and now I need to subscribe to get the article back with the study).

Now we have people who are getting shots and Covid as the shot does not prevent spread. Different variants. Different demographics.

There is no reason a young healthy person needs to take a Covid shot. If they want to. By all means. But there is not reason to. At this point there are more reasons not to take one…

well it’s not covid, second test today confirmed that. So guess I just roll with it, fever spiked up just under 101 today but is back down with some Advil.
I’m in good physical shape so should be fine. Just a question of how long it takes to kick it, and whether a Zpack needs to be involved.

thanks, no biggie, just a common cold or minor flu probably. First cold or flu in about 5 or five years though, I usually do well in staying clear of them so it’s a fun experience :).

I had a cold or severe allergy attack last week into Monday. Multiple negative home tests. Sinus issues and sneezing. ‘Tis the season. Finally went away.

Absolute nonsense. The blood clots are caused by the Immune reaction. The trigger for the immune reaction is the virus or the shot. In the shit, the volume in the trigger is controlled. A better question to ask is how many people who got the shot and had blood clots would have developed blood clots from exposure to COVID too. Because the immune reaction is the same, except that a more extensive invader triggers a stronger reaction. To show how the stupid spreads, a friend of mine who had COVID some months after getting the shot developed blood clots. He told me that all his friends keep telling him the shots cause clots. He didn’t know that the virus causes clotting— which is substantially documented in the scientific and medical literature. And he had a very mild COVID infection months after his shot. Spreading stupid isn’t helpful.

Of course the CDC recommends the vax for all ages. They can't now be seen saying they were wrong to vax millions of kids. But the vaccine was useless to almost all children except those with severe underlying conditions. And it's quite funny how the left is downplaying myocarditis as if it's no big deal. It is a big deal. It's ok to admit it now.

This isn’t that hard to understand. Vaccines prompt the body to have an immune reaction, and sometimes an immune reaction can have unwanted side effects. That happens with all vaccines.

Most with a lick of common sense understand this, only those who have received the false vaccine refuse to face the facts.

You're entitled to your own opinions. But not your own facts. And the facts are those who get COVID are at a higher risk of clots than those who are vaccinated. And clot risks remain a lot higher and longer after infection.

It's also false to claim vaccines are ineffective against Omicron.

But I'm sure the data will be laughed at and dismissed here.

You seem to understand both the shot and Covid can cause blood clots. A young healthy person does not need to put their body at risk when the disease is not that dangerous to them. Especially for a drug that fails miserably in stopping one from getting the disease. The study was pure garbage.

Your other question is an excellent one as well. I agree 100% it should have been studied. Pretty sure that study automatically removed those with a reaction after the shot if they had a prior Covid infection for the short period they looked at the shot. But you are correct. We need to look at all. Because both cause clots.

Highly recommend you read Beat the Heart Attack Gene. Written before Covid. Has nothing to do with Covid except understanding heart disease…

I am not sure it was even useful to all children with severe underlying conditions. Maybe a couple of certain underlying conditions (morbid obesity/etc).

It is also not hard to understand you administer shots like this based on risk benefit. That happens with all shots. Except this one. And we caused generational damage to medicine and public health because we ignored this basic principle of medicine and science.

That study is also complete garbage. It totally ignores all the people with shots and Covid. Covid twice. Covid twice with shots. It is junk.

But jab away if you wish. At this point no one needs a shot. But if you desire go for it…

Lol, what do you actually identify as, I have a pretty good idea
