That Duke TD reception that was called incomplete looked good to me. The ball only came out after he was on the ground for a while. I hate that freaking rule.....freaking refs.....
The Duke QB looks head and shoulders better than AR. He throws the ball on time and accurately. He throws a catchable ball; not fastballs to receivers 5 yards away. And, throws the ball out in front of his receivers where they catch it in stride. AR struggled doing any of those things. I just don't see how an NFL team would draft him in the first round as a QB. I don't care what "potential" people see in him. If he struggles to read defenses and make simple throws at the college level, that's not going to get much better in the NFL where players are faster and better than what AR has seen in college.
Have to agree. I would have preferred seeing more Kitna than we did. His performance in the Eastern Washington game was impressive. Lot of good QB's in college football right now. I have to admit I was very jealous watching how well the other QB's played last season, especially the ones we competed against in our games. I hope we get this figured out next season.
23-13 as UCF closes the gap. A quick 3 and out and they have the ball back with 8 minutes left & Plumlee at QB! Watch out!
Perfect example of poor play calling. Plumlee a very good mobile QB. 3rd and 20 is 2 down territory, right? Instead of two consecutive pass plays, the first one should have been a called QB run play. And on that 4th down....it absolutely should have been a called QB run play. SMH at these play calls.......
And there ya go. #13 Riley Leonard the QB for Duke runs it in for a TD. 30-13 Duke with under 3 min left. These mobile QB's have wreaked ABSOLUTE HAVOC on opposing defenses this season. Yet....we continue to see play calling that does not take advantage of this. SMH and very disappointing if it's your team on the losing end.....
