I was not sure if you were a Christian or not, but sometimes laying out a position in its entirety is the best way to clear out the confusion so as not to be misunderstood.

And FWIW I do believe in predestination. However, I think it is wildly misunderstood by people because it is complex. People use deduction, and say "Oh if you believe A, then you must believe B," but it is not always that simple.

 

I would venture to guess that an analysis of the next 50 to get the Top 100 would not change that common denominator.

That’s not the common denominator I was referring to, I meant the next 50 would be men with terrible mothers as well.

 

aren’t you missing the much more obvious common denominator that they all have a penis between their legs? Again, many of the men on the list have female siblings that were raised by the exact same mothers yet those girls didn’t grow up to slaughter millions of people. Men are distinctly worse creatures than women. The proof is in the pudding.

Lots to ponder, but here are some main thoughts:

I agree that people often take up the talking points of their media/tribe without much thought, but that’s human nature. The fact that we have diverse media pushing diverse talking points is a sign in our favor. Madison argued that this was basically the only path to sustainability.

I understand why you are perceiving persecution because you are a white male. The examples you give are real ones and I think that there is a real philosophical perspective that underpins your stance. That said, there are also millions of white males in this society that aren’t feeling this attack so acutely. This doesn’t mean that their view is the “right” one, but it does show that this situation is a matter of perspective and adopting a different outlook can fundamentally change it. Basically, who cares if TV often shows Homer Simpson as the dumb one and a black girl as the smart one? This doesn’t obstruct your core life projects. It sounds to me like you have plenty of means, both financially and mentally to live a meaningful and flourishing life here and now. I have some money and perceive plenty of love from my family friends and respect from my coworkers. What more do we need?

Change is tough, especially when it comes to long-held identities, but the way you are writing suggests to me that you are actually a good candidate for such change. Thinking of such change as “reprogramming” shows you are seeing this identity as something that was dependent on the environment and not inevitable. And writing things like “my mind tells me” is actually already a strategy used by therapy to distinguish what your feelings are doing to you vs. what the world is directly causing. Our minds and feelings lead us astray all the time, but we can start yo combat this by explicitly identifying that it’s our feelings that are the root cause.

These things take effort, but yiu have energy for a reason. And frankly, in my very amateur opinion, you’ve already taken the toughest steps. Try to ignore the negative comments on this thread. Those are focused on the past, which is set, but you should be focused on the future, which you can change.

 

I’ve acknowledged that pages ago. Women bad women wreak their own havoc and it is mostly on those that are closest to them. Men prefer widespread. Their are also different bonds between boys and their mothers and girls and their fathers.

Their are two common denominators among the men on this list. One is that they had terrible mothers and the other is that for the most part people in their countries put them into power initially.

It is why we are fortunate to have a constitution and a government not designed to be controlled by the president acting as a monarch.

I wouldn’t argue that he deserves to be on this list. Does he have character flaws? So many. He’s a narcissist, rude, and clearly has his own sense of a fair exchange. But I also think tons of people are like this. What really separates him from them is that he got elected president and had a huge following, but neither of these things are really his fault. The country put this mental child in charge, and when you put a kid in charge of something important, it’s kind of your responsibility when he breaks it.
