I don't deny hurling well-deserved insults at the idiotic - whoops, there's one now - MAGA crowd and spineless reactionaries in Congress, but your perception of my being "holier than thou" by doing so is neither my intention nor my fault. Those are your feelings and thin skin. BTW, name a single democratic president who ever spoke or acted the way the Trumpanzee does.
I love how Trump posts a victim message, and then few pubs come in here and also post victim messages in response. lmao
Throwing in the totally unexpected 'clairvoyant' is my favorite part. I didn't realize Trump was our modern day Nostradamus. Clairvoyant (adj): having or exhibiting an ability to perceive events in the future or beyond normal sensory contact.
They can't ever be the villain in the story. They are precious snowflakes the rest of the world is picking on.
Thanks for reminding us that Trump was once a Democrat. I guess the earliest indication that the Donald was becoming more and more unhinged was his decision to become a Republican, a party that would welcome a narcissistic politician as unhinged as Donald Trump.
If you are of a certain age you may have in the past heard or read this declaration on Christmas cards. "Peace on Earth, good will towards men." This familiar phrase, however, was a mistranslation, as are several notable ones found in the KJAV and only corrected in the latter half of the 20th century. The original Greek is more accurately translated as ~ "Peace on Earth towards men of good will." A man who trumpets hate, ill will, and division, as does Trump in his Christmas message, is not "a man of good will." A man set on a trajectory of ill intent, as is Trump, is unlikely to ever find Peace in his heart or his home. He will reap what he foments. Those who aid and abet him will suffer the same.
With all due respect Lacuna, while I agree with your general assessment of Trump's disgusting character, I do not believe it is a given that he will reap what he sows/foments. It is up to mankind as a whole to fully reject this type of venom and insanity. No otherworldly entity is going to "save" us, or ultimately right any terrible wrongs, or punish evildoers. We have to look inward, use our brains, our sense of right and wrong, and stand against him, and people like him. We can't take solace that some type of ultimate justice will fix things. It is dangerous to think that way. We all have a responsibility to do it for the future of humanity.
I cannot disagree with much of what you wrote. But I do believe we exist in a dynamic framework that requires, demands balance and recompense, whether attributable to God or natural order. There is much we cannot understand with our perspective limited to what we [can] observe. This is where faith is found. As the rain falling onto the earth returns to the sky and falls once again upon the earth, as the seasons change and return, as the Earth revolves and endlessly circles the sun, there will be a reckoning, an evening once again dawning into a new day where circumstances can and will be reversed. My beliefs are few and lightly held, but this is something more, an intuitive faith that wrongs will be righted.
What is most amazing is the number of Republicans that still blindly support this ultra corrupt, anti-Democracy heathen scum.
