Looks like he got his one more. PWO QB from IMG. Was really hoping Mertz was a backup plan and that we'd be in it for a top shelf transfer QB. We'd have to be one of the most desirable transfer spots for a 1 year kid - SEC, guaranteed starter, great running game. Can't believe Mertz was the best we could do. Sounds like our NIL game is not only not excellent, but may be a liability. So dang stupid that it comes down to the quality of an organization that our coaches and school have nothing to do with. Ridiculous.
Dude knows better than ALL of our coaches. I think we should hire him to coach all of our mens teams, and fill in on the women’s teams in his free time. Maybe run the AD too.
Hartman can play and would be an upgrade as compared to our other options. As much as I'd like him to come the talk is he's headed to Notre Dame if not the NFL.
Not to be negative, but that is a TERRIBLE QB room for 2023. Worst we've had in years from a talent standpoint. Hard to have optimism for next year.
Ironically it is a room filled with elite recruits. Rashada is a 5 star, Miller was a 5 star before his shoulder injury and was still highly rated, and Mertz was a high 4 star top 100 guy and 3rd ranked pro style QB. Just need one to play up to their talent
Potential is there, esp for Rashada. I mean talent for next year. It is unrealistic to expect Rashada to be SEC ready, Miller looked terrible in the bowl game, and Mertz has not been a good college QB. Of Hartman enters the portal, any chance we're involved?
Let’s not forget he is the same one that was pumping up Taggart talking about how hard fsu played for him. That’s how strong his coaching knowledge is.
I just enjoy his temper tantrum after I posted that. I see he’s gone back to old posts of mine and given them bacon. That says it all right there IMO.
