I actually believe he was comparable to White this season. Felt they both were inconsistent and uneven in their play, but the fact Leonard is much younger and less experienced has to also be considered

 

So your saying we have guys or will get guys that will be at their level? Every guy you listed is not at their level ( White is an all conference player). The chances of getting guys out of the portal at their caliber is far and none and none just left the building. We are talking about grown men that have been through the SEC wars. Big losses.
Go get the kid from UK or Kid from WKU and we will be close maybe on Tarquin. Not replacing White.

 

White was all conference so many thought he did pretty well.

 

Every guy you mentioned has 0 snaps. Both guys transferring have several years experience. Huge difference.

 

You said we don't have 2 guards to replace them, I named 7. I made no judgment on their ability because I have not seen them in practice. I hold off on judgements until I have information

I realize Leonard is less experienced than White, but there was a reason he wasn't starting over him.

 

White 2 years older, playing comparably imo

 

The perfect scenario or at least the scenario we saw happening was white at one guard and Leonard at the other with white definitely being the best of the two. It’s interesting that White is considered one of the top 4-5 guards in the league.

 

Banks is up to 300 pounds. He can play DT.

 

I think a 300 pound edge would also be good.

 

Need to see how he carries 300 at 6’7”, but need him to be able to set the edge and run down RBs and QBs on the edge.

 

i think Wingo does have the foot speed. I know what plays your probably thinking of but those plays weren’t going to be made by 90% of MLB’s. Probably a 2 down MLB and that’s fine

 

O’Cyrus made things easier for White. When you have a future NFL Hall of Famer on the line with you at the other guard position you tend to get the easier matchups. White left plenty to be desired. I will leave it at that.

 

Made it easier for all, not just White. That being said White was voted 2nd team all conference. That’s about his play on the field. They don’t just hand that out.
