Not really political, but if anybody has any knowledge of highly reputable post plumbing wall repair (and maybe floor, I don’t know ) please let me know. Looking for somebody does good work, highly reputable, insured bonded, and can get in sooner vs later, maybe even post Christmas week.

    Thanks.

Insured and bonded for a little drywall work? Seems excessive ....

Perhaps but from a liability perspective you can’t be too careful. I’m not sure that contractor workers are covered under typical home liability and umbrella policies.

Getting very hard to find reliable honest tradsman in this day and age. Recently had a reroof done by a major company out of Ocala. One person could speak english, out of a crew of 7 so communication was very hard. Since they finished, I have had the company send their repair/fixit guys back out here 4 times to correct issues that were not properly done by their original crew. Not to mention I was charged for repair work they did not do.
My wife and I built this house in 1978 ourselves. Don't trust myself on a roof anymore due to age. I hate having to hire someone else to do repair or maintanence work as the above seems the norm nowadays.

    Ocala
I have a roofer out of Ocala I trust. After the First experience I did not even get a second quote for the second roof of our commercial property. I did seek the input of a local general contractor before my first go around. They told me one would be more expensive but the job would be done at a higher level. I chose the more expensive option and was pleased with both jobs they did.

    With regards to the OP…

Tougher than you think. I got burned by a guy I hired to build a some storage shelves and refinish cabinets at the office (after 5 years finally got our money back/triple damages/interest/expenses). Thought I could trust the guy. And my guy I could was not the fit for the cabinets.

So fair question from the OP. But for this job. It probably does not require the licensing if the guy is reputable.

I have a buddy who is a very good painter. He was the Florida contact for the restaurant impossible tv shows, not sure if he still does them or not, but did several of them. He will do smaller drywall repairs and can match texture before painting. Sounds like what you need.
