Is It Time For Men To Let Women Take Over Society?

This is speaking as a man and one who, while not against women, is just tired of men being blamed for all of societies problems.

So I have several questions for both women and men on here. Are men really needed anymore in society? Should men just let women take over?

It's sad but so true. As a 39 year old man who has had very little success in dating I've all but given up on ever being in a genuine relationship with women. I know my chance to attract any type of decent woman is pretty much gone at this point. I'm not conventionally attractive so realistically my chance of dating a woman I would be attracted to are pretty minimum. I would most likely have to settle for a woman I would not be attracted to and that would not be fair to either one of us. At this point I just go to the strip clubs every week or two to have a woman be physical with me.

But as I have lamented my dating and relationship situation, I realize it's really not my fault completely. Men are no longer needed in society. Think about it, women outpace men at all levels of education now, including high school and college (bachelor's, master's and Ph'D's). With technology and automation manual labor jobs, where men have typically thrived, are going away. Meanwhile less manual labor jobs, especially jobs that require soft skills, where woman have typically thrived, are expanding significantly.

Let's take nursing and nurse practitioners for example. One of the fields where the level of growth is expected to be tremendous. Men barely exist in nursing and nurse practitioner positions. While there is a push to educate more women to become doctors there is no push at all to educate more men to become nurses or nurse practitioners.

So we have a workforce changing to where men are falling behind and no one really cares because men aren't needed anymore. Let's look at the personal side.

As more women have careers (and in more cases high paying careers) this has two huge impacts on their personal life. This includes the following:

1)More women are in careers where they are no longer reliant on a man for their income/livelihood.
2)More women are in careers that would make it very inconvenient, if not impossible, to have children.

Due to these two factors this means women no longer have to be in relationships just for a family and/or financial perspective which most likely eliminates a fair amount of relationships and marriages.

Let's also look at the fact that more and more women are becoming lesbian. Every time there is a lesbian couple that takes two women out of the dating market for men. As it's becoming more and more socially acceptable to become lesbian this will continue to make more and more women unavailable to men.

Now let's look at the final nail in the coffin, procreation. Already many lesbian couples will simply opt for IVF or artificial insemination. As this becomes more widely available this will most likely cause more women who are bi-sexual to pick a female partner over a male partner. There are probably a good amount of women who are bi-sexual or lesbian who would have previously married a man simply for procreation purposes. Men have essentially been reduced to their sperm count. Once medical science can create a baby without natural sperm this will all but eliminate the need for men.

So are we at or close to a point where men are no longer needed in society? As a woman would you be happier if you could only be in a female society with no males around? Should there be separate male and female societies? Have us men become obsolete?

On that note as well, should us men just give up and let women control everything? Just go on government programs, drink, relax, play video games and partake in other recreational activities while the women do all the hard work? Give up all societal control to have a more relaxing life? Of course if this happens then women can no longer blame men for anything as we would be giving them what they have always wanted, complete control. Are women ready to be on the other end? Are they truly ready to have a matriarchy? Even if women don't want that should men start to leave society by choice?

I would love reactions from both sides but especially from women.

 

Are you saying women aren't strong enough to do that? Seems like a pretty sexist thing to say.

Point aside what do men currently offer society? Women at this point need men less and less. Are men obsolete? Should men and women form different societies? Should men just go ahead and withdraw from society?

Would both sides (especially women) be better if the sexes were split apart?
