I want to meet these people that folks like Danny Kannel constantly complain about. It must be a huge group of Twitter follows that love to chant SEC.

I have a couple of non gator game rules when "pulling" for someone. Never have I ever wanted uga or fsu to win a game. So any team playing those teams I do pull for in that moment. I will say I use to pull for south Carolina against everyone but UF, but that began when SOS was hired and ended when he retired.

 

We got Kelby Collins so we had some success. Hopefully we can build off of DJ being out of state for '24

I think Bateman is a weak link when it come to recruiting, unfortunately. He’s obviously not connecting with players. Not sure if it’s his style of coaching or experience, but he’s not impressing them.

At least he is making up for it with stellar coaching and LB play.

 

I NEVER root for Georgia/Tennessee/Alabama/FSU / and now I have a serious bon… for Miami. May they all turn into Nebraska in the near future. Surprisingly, I don’t mind LSU. Don’t really understand that tho

 

i think recruits see that too. We’re on the same page, but in a different book. Coaching style and experience or lack their of, can impact their play and I didn’t see improvement over time. We obviously didn’t have a LB who could play coverage or maybe we did and we didn’t play them. Hmmm

 

Agree. Although I will root for Miami over all of those schools and that’s probably just a little bro (bad apple) kind of love. I didn’t mind LSU until the hurricane BS they pulled. Learned to hate them and then I met my GF and life’s been even worse over the last 3 yrs. We’ll, my football life anyways.

Clearly he is a crap recruiter but I don’t get the coaching complaints. Ventrell was as good as he physically can be, Burney played better than we’ve ever seen Burney play and he had a couple freshman backing them up that were learning as they go.

 

You don’t live in the Panhandle, do you? Where your only options are Bama Or FSU fans?

i think Miller was just experienced. He was already good and being a 5th year senior, it could have just been his understanding of the game vs being well coached. I think the same can be said for Burney. I think he just learned from what we all saw on tap and became better. Started to trust more. James was a disappointment to me. I don’t think I saw improvement in him. It was flat, but I could be wrong in my assessment.
