    I think media members associated with UF in particular are way too overzealous in breaking recruiting news that they don’t think about the possible ramifications. I.e. the Dijon Johnson debacle, Platt, now this lol. Everybody wants to be first to report and then they look foolish

    They all do it. We just don’t pay as much attention to the other schools. We have our fair share of idiots, but we haven’t cornered the market.

    But this can't be real. Our coaches are way behind on the portal recruits and haven't really talked to anybody, and the good targets have already gotten connected to other programs.

    I just got on the board today. Am I way behind or is this still the sentiment?

    We have some of the worst beat writers for some reason. They have fouled up more leaked information than a really bad prison snitch over the years.

    There have been a few studs at positions of serious need (OL, DL, LB) that already moved to other programs before we got our first transfer, so its understandable why there was concern.

    id rather he stayed. Likely starting RT. My source - internet rumors - say he got an offer and then hit portal. We told him we would not match it. If he picks a school quickly it may be true.
