I think the timing of our bowl game hurt us this year for the portal. The more I think about it, the more I think it hurt us to play in our bowl game, and wish we had declined, so to focus on recruiting.

Oh no I knew what he was doing I was glad 95% of the people that responded to him saw it to. Idk if he was trolling or just trying to build an audience for the announcement. We have all known he wasn’t coming here for months.

 

and what's annoying is the fact that a kid who's an hour and a half away was already seen as a lock to UGA even though he's a huge position of need for us and we did everything we could to sway him. I know UGA got the juice obviously but gosh I hate that for us.

The other thing that is frustrating too is...why can't WE go to other states and snatch their top kids? Like UGA comes to our state and snatch Jordan Hall but like why can't we go to, say Maryland or Virginia for example, and snatch a top kid from there? You get what i'm saying? Like, for example our top LB targets this cycle from the state of Florida was Pup Howard (South Carolina), Raylen Wilson and Troy Bowles (UGA), Jordan Hall (Michigan State), Lewis Carter (Oklahoma)...why can't UF return the favor and snatch LB's from their states??? Frustrating!! I'm tired of the damn excuses lol
