This was in response to the notion that Florida is the poster child for how not to handle the pandemic. If that is true, wouldn't you expect a break in the graph of people leaving? Hell, at least growth slowing down? None of that happens. Not only that, Republican margins in Florida grew dramatically in 2022. DeSantis went from winning by maybe 20,000 against Gillum to winning by 1.5 million against Crist.

I thought policy does affect migration. I’ve heard more than once on this very thread Florida is appealing because of no state income tax. Is it so much of a stretch to say other policies largely affect migration as well? And if people are willing to move to Florida over no state income tax, I’d think they’d be willing to move out because DeSantis killed grandma.
