Interesting note was that Turkish transport planes flew out of kyiv today and it’s unclear if that was some kind of one off deal or if Ukraine is attempting to open up airspace around kyiv airport.

 

Unless Russia politely consented to a short armistice, Zelensky wasn’t anywhere near to hot zone.

Pro-Russian military analysts have rushed to their keyboards this morning to state that since they can’t hear explosions in the background, Zelenskyy can’t really be in Bakhmut. Those analysts are dead wrong. They’re also not listening very closely.

Belarus now says its Russian S-400 and Iskander missiles are "on combat duty". It could be a big mistake for Belarus to fire one and enter the war, because there is nothing stopping the U.S. from bombing the hell out of Belarus--they gave up their nuclear weapons in 1996. Think Putin is going to stand up for Belarus? Think again.

It looks like the U.S. will be providing Ukraine with some longer-range precision weapons that could cause some major problems for Russia.

Ukraine is apparently re-positioning large numbers of troops for a major new offensive. It will be interesting to see where they strike next.
