I guess Napier never saw what Mullen may have with Anthony Richardson. Perhaps there's a reason Mullen spent more time with Jones.

I can't who's the best QB for next year. All I can hope for is that the coaches and team doesn't waste anymore time on a flash in the pan (real or perceived) that leaves a hollow future.

QB will matter a bunch but if we don’t pick up some more reliable receivers it won’t matter who is sling the ball.
For that reason a dual threat guy from the portal would be of great help however I don’t think that’s Napier’s preferred style on O.

Mullen was obviously wrong. Jones was benched this year and is in the portal. AR is about to be a top pick

It is really unfair to put so much blame on Miler. He was trying to Ron an offense that had no working parts. Just missing the best guard in the nation on a decent line is huge. He didn’t have much to work with.

A running qb does help if you have no offense.

Mullen made so many mistakes last season, that was the biggest of them.

IMO, head coach as a position coach is not a good setup. Too much attachment to make a tough objective decision. Biggest problem with Mullen was the ability to make the tough decision with qb and his assistants. i know technically. there was a qb coach but mullen was very involved. i hope this doesnt turn out to be the case with CBN

Seems like it is so far and sadly Napier is no where near the offensive mind that Mullen is.

This is fair enough but Miller also didn't do anything to suggest that he's more than a serviceable backup. Get one of the top portal guys and may the best man win.

I don’t think anyone is blaming him. He is who he is.

The question is he the best QB we can trot out there in 2023. For me the answer is pretty clearly no.

The Wisconsin QB? C'mon man if that's who we get in the Transfer Portal we in real trouble at QB next year. I think we either sign two QBs this year of go for two in the portal... and let Miller compete for a spot on the team.

Yep, opting out culture is just another nail in the college football coffin.

Until we get another, he might be. Rashada may be better as a freshman? We will sign one for sure, let’s see what we get

Yep. Seems like what we need is a HC that can instill some kind of loyalty to the program so these kids will play their hardest all the time. I know that with NIL and the portal kids can do what they want but somehow the culture needs to be developed by Napier that at least they are playing for and invested in each other.

And that’s not a good thing. Dabo and Harbaugh are only two who have demonstrated the value of giving a man enough time to establish a winning program his way. “Gator nation” chooses to ignore this and instead keep demanding a championship caliber team in 2 years or less. “Gatornation” is entitled, willingly ignorant, and self-destructive

If AR is a top pick and does well he was sandbagging all season to build his personal stock.
