Fauci posing as an expert? By all accounts he is an expert, isn’t he?

Are you thinking Desantis has some new secret information about risks of vaccines in young people? All vaccines have risks. The Covid vaccines have risks. The J&J vaccine has a very rare risk of clotting. The MNRA vaccines have shown a very rare risk of myocarditis, which usually reverses, a risk that seems more prominent in younger males. In most groups the risks of similar side affects are far greater with actual Covid infection.

I read a recent article of a positive but minor association with MNRA vaccines and POTS syndrome. However the risk of POTS and Covid is five times higher.

Vaccines prompt an immune response. Sometimes such a response can have side effects. That is true with all vaccines.

Desantis compared the scope of this vaccine investigation to the investigation and lawsuits of opioids. It is an absurd comparison.

I’ve never liked Desantis and won’t vote for him, but my hope was most of his silliness was culture war related and on matter of importance he would govern competently. This latest stand IMO is the most alarming yet - he seems willing to ignore evidence and attack a treatment that has saved millions of lives worldwide in order to better appeal to conspiracy minded Republican voters.

While I tend to think Desantis would be better than Trump, the potential danger is he turns out to be another Victor Orban. He has the ego, and has shown some authoritarian tendencies, and he is far more intelligent than Trump, so in that respect he could do more damage.

I am so glad I made the decision to not take the shot. But right now I am reading Beat the Heart Attack Gene by Bradley Bale MD and Amy Doneen ARNP.

I already have my concerns and thoughts about some of the abnormal events being seen. But this book while focused on the failure of our current approach to cardiovascular disease…brings some real insight for why these shots should have never been given to young healthy people (my opinion and as I learn about cardiovascular disease in this book being strengthened from a point of view many might not see). This is my opinion and the book has nothing to do with Covid. I highly recommend everyone look into reading it. You might become more infuriated with our healthcare system than you already are. But it will help equip you to protect yourself from the number one killer out there. Cardiovascular Disease.

I hope to find the time to start a thread later on it. But the idea that heart disease is about plumbing (sure blockage is not good and part of the problem) is why so many go misdiagnosed.

All you did was post remarks from a UCLA doctor which clearly was meant to demean Dr. Ladapo. You then went silent when shown your source actually had glowing remarks for Dr. Ladapo.

What was the purpose of posting political disingenuous remarks by a doctor from UCLA about Dr. Ladapo?

I understand you in this context. I've cross- examined, and seen cross-examined, quite a few like you, people with an agenda posing as an expert, but whose bias and lack of integrity soon became evident, as it has with you since the very beginning of Covid.

No. It is heartbreaking to hear someone say they would lie to other colleagues about the qualifications of one of their peers.

Maybe. Because the next "guy" might be Marjorie Taylor Greene with how nutty and conspiratorial the Republican Party has become. With that out of the way, you can go back to tepidly trying to justify DeSantis's crazy behavior.

He is an expert, but he treats acting as a politician as more important than being an expert. He makes "recommendations" which two seconds later (every time) becomes mandated policy.

What his job should be or should have been is giving pros and cons, risk/rewards, not bullying policy recommendations every step of the way. That's not his job. That's what elected Congressmen are for and what the POTUS is supposed to sign off on or veto.

That's fine, but this was a relatively experimental vaccine that was pushed out rather quickly and government bureaucrats like Dr. Fauci finding all sorts of ways to compel you to take it.

If you do that, and there's negative consequences, I don't see a problem with wanting transparency in that decision-making process, which is what an investigation would bring. If frivolous investigations are so harmful, Democrats shouldn't have spent every two seconds investigating Trump over BS.

And if crimes were broken, nobody is above the law right?

I swear, two seconds ago the entire apparatus of Too Hot thought there was nothing wrong with investigations on public officials launched by political opponents. "The public has a right to know." Now all of a sudden, it's "authoritarian, it's dangerous."

Am I a fan of making politics out of processes like this? No. But I am in favor of any specific club Democrats use against Republicans to also be used against those very same Democrats.

You launch politically driven investigations on politicians you don't like because you don't like them, get ready when the shoe's on the other foot. You won't find any tears from me.

So you think Dr. Fauci had mind control powers? Because he doesn't have the power himself to mandate policy without the President's backing. And no, we don't need Congress. Congress already passed laws delegating the power to the executive so they could act quickly in emergency situations. Congress is free to take that power back whenever they so desire, but they have no interest in doing that.

No change in tone. Just find the 9ther side ironic. I can detest lawmakers who pander on the back of unborn lives, while not detesting scared 16 year olds who deserve our compassion.

My anger is aimed at the lawmakers.

Calling DeSantis a Nazi makes one a drama queen. My guess is deep down even you agree with this and find that terminology unfitting.

I did not accuse people of exterminating. This is about politicians. (DeSantis).my reference is to the politicians that your side supports. No one is saying that YOU are exterminating. Ill save the guild by association stuff for those screaming that we support facist nazis.
