This blows my mind--death may be reversible up to a hour or longer after the heart and brain functions stop. Some accidental experimentation with brain tissue led to new discoveries in restoring life to a dead body.

Some background: ventilators were invented in the 1950's, allowing a body to be kept alive by delivering oxygen to the brain and other organs. In the late 60's, doctors settled on the idea of brain-death: when the brain stops working, the patient is dead. A 13-year-old girl died during surgery in 2013, but was kept alive by ventilator for five years. She went through puberty with no brain function to initiate or direct the changes.

Scientists have developed an advanced life support system called OrganEx that does a much better job of not only keeping patients "alive", but also restores them to full health from a state of clinical death, without requiring the heart to be re-started (it re-starts on its own). When the heart stops, not all of the cells die or stop functioning immediately. This system has been tested on pigs already, but not people. Four out of five pig hearts re-started on their own during the procedure.

Is Death Real? New Experiments Raise Important Questions On What It Means To Die

The first step was re-activating pig brains retrieved from a slaughterhouse.
The next step was to revive the entire pig, after it was dead for an hour.

That represents and advance, in healthcare, given that ventilators were killing multitudes in 2020.

Years ago I saw a Weekly World News headline: “New Hope For The Dead” that made me laugh and laugh. Well who’s laughing now?

Just a reminder that "brain dead" Biden managed to beat the delusional Orange God in a free and fair election by a margin of close to 8 million votes.

No president has ever sunk further than Trump. Biden has brought respect back to the office. Feel free to disagree with his policies, but don’t impugn his character and allegiance to the Constitution.

actually it is a significant step up from electing the delusional conman child that was chosen before Biden, the orange guy has the intellect and maturity fo a 12 year old. How anyone of any intelligence can continue to try and defend him is incomprehensible

Thanks to Trump is my point. What he’s done and is doing to this country has been outrageous. Don’t even mention Biden in the same breath.
