You’re not going to compete with the upper echelon in the SEC building your team with portal castoffs. You can find a good player here and there but good luck building a team like that.
1.How are 2 of our best players transfers from Louisiana AND lowly 3 stars out of high school? 2. How many of our players (including opt-outs) would start for Vandy or Oregon State?
1. Mullen didn't give a sh!t to recruit, and Napier is a better talent evaluator? 2. O'cyrus Torrence, which ties back into number 1. Argument could be made a Justin Shorter or Ricky Pearsall for Georgia and ETN is in the rotation at both schools. I don't think I have seen a single rational person say talent is not an issue. However, by the logic presented in your 2 questions that it is talent, name the Vanderbilt players that are starting for UGA or ALA? Name the USF players that are a missed FG away? Oregon State?
I am horrible at Math, have zero understanding of our roster situation, and I have the patience of a po’ed fireant The Trifecta
Galen Hall was 40-18-1 at UF and I think beat UGA 27-0 in 1984;I’d rather have him than a few former coaches we have had.
This coaching staff is C***. We weren't going to win this game, but we were in it until the fake punt to begin the second half. After what happened with South Caroline it is inexcusable not to be ready for a fake. That's from the head coach down. I remember watching Mack Brown count players on the punt team when Texas was losing to Oklahoma by 30+ points. His head was still in the game. Our coach didn't have a clue. Any of you who think this is the future of Gator football are sadly mistaken
I remember the commentators saying that OSU had run 32 plays and the Gators had run 9. The inability for the offense to stay on the field really hurt the defense. I think they actually played pretty well until they got gassed from not being able to sub and being on the field for so long.
Long, long time poster, somehow my validation got messed up but what the heck. Playing these bowl games that really don't mean anything, but however disparage our tradition and good name. This is such bull. We are a laughingstock of college football playing these bowl games 15 or 20 or 25 players down. What an embarrassment to the university athletics association. I am a late '80s graduate but 90% turned off on Collegiate Athletics. I have no interest in professional sports. The college level is about to lose a former stalwart supporter. In fact I'm sure I'm done.
AR was heartless. 40% completions and refused to run against USF nearly got us beat. Refusing to run against vandy got us beat. Poor baby didn’t want to get hurt. Funny if he goes undrafted.
