I wonder if Coach Napier knows about our scoring streak.

I mean....as ridiculous as it sounds.....it is possible he doesn't.

That would explain why he went for that 4 and 2.....

 

I'd start by asking the boosters for buckets of cash (legally) to lock up more top 50 guys. It's only a difference of a handful of elite players, but that difference adds up in a big way.

Then schematically, do some real soul searching this offseason on every side of the ball, especially the defense and passing game. Does it mean "fire everyone," no. But everyone on this staff needs to take a good hard look in the mirror right now. The product, even with what we have right now, just isn't good enough.

 

Scott Stricklin’s seat needs to be a couple degrees hotter than normal right now.

All Gator Boosters need to make it unequivocally clear to him: you go as Bily Napier goes. All UF programs have declined on his watch. He doesn’t get 3 cracks at picking a HC for football. Napier is it. No more bites of the apple or apples to bite from.

 

He is a huge part of it. Along with the coaching.

Billy was 9-years-old when we were shut out last time. I think the 9-year-old Billy could have coached up as well as the modern day version.

 

Cool. If he ain’t got it, fire him now. Just be ready to be in with Nebraska. If Napier doesn’t work out, that’s where we are headed. I’m just not ready to dig that grave.

Portal and NIL are killing the days of slow rebuild. Quality relentless coaching and recruiting. Get er done. We were a bit slow out of the blocks last year and it shows. Big, big upgrades on staff and players needed to turn the mo.
