Pratt is a kid from Florida, but if I were to show you both his and McCall's stats I know who your want to compete for QB1 in Gainesville next year. McCall also runs better, IMHO.

I am playing for the future of the position. Not concerned was a one yr wonder. This team isn't winning the East next yr. Get Rashada as much experience as possible. Miller looks good when given time in the pocket. The O line needs to improve. The Defense needs help at all levels.

True, but in terms of efficiency and reliable productivity, Chris Leak was head and shoulders better than any QB we've seen in years, with the exception of Trask.

It is so odd. They would rather underperform in 2023, and put crazy pressure on BN in 2024 rather than do our best to have a good team in 2023.

The amount of PT Rashada gets next year isn't going to change his fortunes come 2024.

We have a lot of Miller truthers here.

I’ve been on this board since the 90s. I have two degrees from UF. I’ve got receipts. This program is a shell of itself and won’t be relevant anytime soon. I hope I’m wrong, won’t be the first time.

We’ve had incredible bad luck at the quarterback position since Tebow.

Did someone put a curse on us?
So, we block a field goal and end up getting a penalty like that?

Sometimes I wonder about our team.

So 1 year of McCall doesn't change any of that.... You make it seem like getting McCall means we cannot recruit and develop OL and D. If our army of coaches cannot focus on more than one position group then its all hopeless anyways.

In fact Rashada probably gets more PT with McCall here than Miller starting.

How much does that qb cost and could that money be spent on talent that will still be here when it matters more?

I'm not convinced that having Pratt come as a senior to play one season during a complete rebuild is going to help anything.

I'd think we'd want to do a rebuild around players who are here for the rebuild. Continuity and all. This isn't plug and play with an already good team loaded with experienced talent.

But again idk what BN is going to do, I just hope it's long term over immediate gratification.

Use that scholarship on another position other than QB.

Win NOW train for the future. McCall need no QB training. He's ready to go now. He's the most accurate QB out there and he throw for several TDs in his 3 years.

He's thrown for 78 TDs with only 8 total INTs in his college career. Last year he was 27-2 TD to INT ratio. He runs the ball well and he has a near 70% completion percentage... way better than anyone one else out there, in the portal.

A 70% completion percentage is insanely accurate.
