Sightly disagree with that statement. Talent is great, but scheme and coaching can overcome a deficit in talent. Our scheme meshed with our talent gives the results we see right now.

The best comparison I can give is Meyer in 2005. He modified his offense halfway through the season to fit the players he had on hand, and then went to his desired scheme once he had the necessary players on hand.

 

What QB would be sitting? Rashada isn't going to play much as a true freshman.

You’re not making sense. Nobody is talking about “tanking” a year. But focusing on “competition” at quarterback when we have a 5* 2023 and a 5* 2024 committed is silly when we so badly need talent at a plethora of other positions.
