I also believe that we need another QB in the mix for next year, regardless of how Miller plays today. But am I the only one who likes the Card kid out of Texas, at least as a fall back if one of the older players doesn't come?

He’s got multiple years of eligibility left. I think the staff is looking for a one and done. Or at least that’s the popular opinion

Here’s a take on the QB issue: how do you think Rashada and Lagway are gonna react to us bringing in one of these dudes out of the portal with 3 years of eligibility left? Think they’re both gonna hang around UF?

I hope like hell we get Rashada’s signed LOI in before we start seriously courting anybody else

 

This Staff is upfront with recruits. Rashada was informe about Lagway and they were honest with all the guys who decided to leave.

 

That’s my concern. At least for today anyway. I don’t have a lot of confidence in a QB that just started throwing 3 weeks ago, when he wasn’t able to for 4 months prior.

 

Maybe Grayson canceled his visit to Auburn( so he could visit UF) and is on the sideline in Vegas. Will fly to Gainesville after the game and visit Sunday. Remember no Tranfer visits allowed after this weekend until January 3rd.

 

When available to play Miller was not and would never have been behind Kitna.....period

 

The idea that we should, in the best case scenario, be happy going into next year with a QB depth chart of Miller, Brown and Rashada is legitimately one of the crazier things I've ever read on these boards. And that is saying a lot.

 

I've seen enough of Miller. We need McCall to compete for QB1 next year.

 

I don’t think hes played terrible. Can’t get the running game going. Douglas dropped a ball early.. don’t know what the play call was on 4th down but they were showing pressure and never checked out of it.. not saying he’s played great. But not terrible either. But this is his 1st ever start. I think?

 

No, he hasn't played all that badly, but not that good either. We need more experienced competition for QB1 next year.

 

Oh i agree with you… but either way I’m hoping towards the end of the year next year rashada is getting some valuable playing time.
