I think he went to Kentucky first then by the time he left for UCF they had the Ole Miss QB transfer in (John Rhys Plumlee) and win the QB1 spot this year. The year Gatewood transferred in UCF was set at QB, forgot who that was last year... Mike Keene?

 

It’s almost always because they aren’t going to play.

So the question is why aren’t they going to play:

1. Not good enough
2. Scheme mismatch
3. Elite guys ahead

Only the scheme issue is legit. The rest scream bust

The only transfers I truly prefer

1. elite small school guys making the step up
2. guys with legit personal reasons to transfer

Does anybody know if UF has reached out to the TE from FIU Rivaldo Fairweather? Former basketball player, didn’t start playing football until junior year. He’s skinny at 6-5, 210 but a good athlete

 

That might be the perfect spot for him to land.
