And you couldn't find one positive thing about the team you could post?

Nice win. Good to destroy a team that you're better than, but the real measure to see if they've improved comes vs Oklahoma. Can they beat a good team and play well with tougher competition. To me that game will tell us a lot.

Quite a bit more pep in the step. Much better team when rested.

too loose. I would have sat him midway in the second half. I know we were ahead, but against good teams when they grab one of his wild passes, they will score. There were way too many, he shot a three or two, both bricks. He might have made one but his strength at this time, he needs to focus on ball handling and finishing with his quickness. His shooting from outside is low percentage. CTG has to tell him, unless you are wide open, do not shoot and if you can’t get inside cleanly, pass it off. Kowacie, Will, Felder, Tre and even Lofton and Fudge are making some threes. Crisp passing with a chance, a good chance the receiver can grab it, should be the focus for everyone.

Best game by far from Lofton. I am sure 7 assists is a season high for the team as well as him.

Yep. We tend to forget that he was injured before the season and then had back spasms in recent days. I used to get back spasms periodically and it was debilitating, so I know what he was dealing with.

Agreed, IIRC there was a sequence where he had two crazy passes and tried that "there's no room on the baseline but I'm driving into traffic anyway", putting up an under-the-basket, underhanded shot that missed the backboard -- wait no, it came down onto the top of the backboard.

He is definitely acrobatic on his moves. Keyontae Johnson would drive the basket with quickness and athletic moves, but he was in control and most times scored. Riley is definitely talented. He just needs to focus on finishing drives he takes and at least be aware of at least, having a good chance of finishing. Reminds me of our super talented Tre that plays in the pros. His first year he would drive the basket, get knocked around, and not finish many drives. Tre got stronger, learned to help the team. He needed to understand to be decisive when he drove inside and had a good chance of getting points and not getting blocked. Things then opened up for him with these better drive results and his three point shooting came more natural with a better percentage due to other teams had to defend him on the inside. We got better as a team with the better results. Riley will get there! Hopefully soon, LOL!

I went to see the Gators play Syracuse in Tampa, they beat us and had almost filled the arena with their fans. So last nite it looked like we had a nice contingent of fans in the orange and blue, nice to see!

I think I went in with fairly low expectations for the crowd all things considered, I thought it was a pretty good showing.
