Musk is capable of managing and recognizing engineering talent. That is not something everyone can do. Tesla has advanced the transition to electric vehicles by maybe a decade. Spacex has also revolutionized launch systems with Reusability bringing the cost of launching way down and if he gets his starship to work it may be the start of making us a multi planetary species. Wonder if there is a class action suit here where Tesla CEO has abdicated his fiduciary responsibility by becoming hyperpartisan and alienating a large part of his customer base by doing so. He has certainly hurt the brand image.
